Seedhi baat (Hinglish mein): CharuMam bachchon ke liye free learning site hai. Hum aapse sirf utni hi jaankari lete hain jitni zaroori ho: contact form mein naam aur email, ya newsletter ke liye email. Hum aapki jaankari kabhi bechte nahi hain. AI Tutor mein apna naam, phone, address ya koi personal baat mat likhiye. Agar aap 18 saal se chhote hain, toh koi bhi form bharne se pehle apne maata-pita se poochhiye.

1. Who we are

charumam.com (“CharuMam”, “we”, “us”) is a free, Hinglish learning website for Class 8 students, together with the CharuMam AI Tutor at tutor.charumam.com. For any privacy question, write to doubts@charumam.com.

2. Information we collect

Contact form: your name, email address, subject and message, only when you choose to send them.
Newsletter / updates: your email address, only if you subscribe.
Comments: if you comment on a post, the name, email and comment you enter, plus your IP address (used by WordPress for spam protection).
AI Tutor: the questions you type. The Tutor does not ask for registration, name or phone number.
Technical data: like any website, our hosting and security systems may log basic data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, to keep the site safe and working.

3. How we use it

To reply to your messages and doubts.
To send updates you asked for (you can unsubscribe any time from the email itself).
To answer your questions in the AI Tutor.
To keep the site secure, stop spam and fix problems.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.

4. AI Tutor

Questions typed into the AI Tutor are sent to an AI service provider (Anthropic’s Claude) to generate the answer. Please do not type personal details (full name, phone, address, school name, photos) into the Tutor. Questions may be reviewed to improve the Tutor. AI answers can sometimes be wrong; please confirm important things with your teacher or textbook.

5. Cookies

The site uses essential cookies needed for it to work (for example, to remember a comment form or for security and caching). We do not currently use advertising or tracking cookies. If this changes, we will update this page.

6. Third-party services

We use trusted services to run the site: Hostinger (web hosting and newsletter), WordPress and its plugins, Vercel (AI Tutor hosting) and Anthropic (AI answers). These services process data only as needed to provide their service. Links to other websites (such as NCERT or DIKSHA) are covered by their own privacy policies.

7. Children’s privacy

CharuMam is made for school students. We collect as little information as possible. If you are under 18, please ask your parent or guardian before using the contact form, subscribing or commenting. Parents can ask us to see, correct or delete their child’s information at any time.

8. How long we keep data

We keep messages and emails only as long as needed to respond or to send the updates you asked for. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to withdraw your consent, by writing to doubts@charumam.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical measures (secure HTTPS connection, updated software, spam protection) to protect your information. No website can be 100% secure, but we try our best.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with the “Last updated” date.
